Alas, the weeks of endless runway coverage and bombardment of stylish women and beautiful clothes has come to an end and, like with all the other fashion weeks, it wouldn’t be complete without a mini round-up.

Spring and summer are times when coats should be abandoned but everybody knows if you live in England (or even Paris for that matter) it is never the case. Then again, when Miu Miu has presented us with a delightful selection of playful, cute coats why would we want to abandon them?

At an overall glance, the Louis Vuitton collection appears solemn and mournful with the only sign of light being the denim jeans decorated with chains and black applique but, of course, that was not the case. Sure this is Marc Jacobs’ final installment for the house but he departed with a celebration and intricate beauty. Within the clothing, tributes are paid to Coco Chanel, Rei Kawakubo and Miuccia Prada- those that have been a big influence over the years- while the set incorporated those stand out runway shows (the elevators, escalators, carousel, fountain). Oh and let’s just take a moment to admire those Stephen Jones designed headpieces .

From a goodbye to a hello. Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have introduced us to an issue that’s close to their hearts: overfishing and, by doing so, we can all fall in love with Kenzo‘s scribbled wave patterns and the glossy leather that has the appearance of being dunked in the water.

Oh Carven, it is as though you have taken on board the things I love and turned your house into an even more irresistible place (if that’s even possible). Camouflage, chokers, pretty pastels and metallics all finished with the usual effeminate charm.
