warming spiced orange and walnut smoothie

Another warming smoothie recipe for you. This time combining the festive flavours of orange and nuts.
All you need to do is place 1 chopped up apple, 1 chopped up pear, 1 orange, a handful of walnuts, some mixed spice, some nutmeg and a dash of almond milk into a blender and mix until smooth. Transfer into a small pan and place on the hob until heated up. Pour into a glass or mug and enjoy.

Best consumed the morning after one of those nights where you’ve been curled up in front of a blazing fire, toasting marshmallows and drinking tea. It’s like the serenity never left.
